It is easy, convenient, and so fast. You don’t have to worry about making time to go the bank to get the money you need to move on with your life.

Chances are, you’re offering mobile deposit. You have the app in the mobile stores, and you’ve made it available to qualifying members. Now what?

1. Have a STRONG Mobile Deposit Capture Launch campaign!

Depending on your member base, they may not know that you have mobile deposit available, much less know how to get it and start using it. Your website, mobile banking, and statements are great places to start. There should be clear instructions for where, how and when they can use the mobile deposit service.

2. Post on Social Media!

Your social media accounts are great places to advertise mobile deposit capture. Chances are, the members that will use mobile deposit also have all their social media apps on their phone and use social media to find out more about YOU, their financial institution. 3. Posters, Flyers, and handouts, oh my!

If your members aren’t using mobile deposit yet, they are still coming in to the branch to deposit checks and handle their banking. Handouts can even be mailed with statements or send postcards directly to a member’s home to make sure they know how to get the app and be able to deposit checks right from their kitchen table!

4. Talk about it.

Your tellers should know all about mobile deposit and how to use it. If they tell a member and even show them how to use it, the member will be more inclined to tell their friends and family about it and how great it is. Word-of-mouth is a great marketing tactic that can help spread the word about mobile deposit capture, FAST!
