Document Management

Document Management Systems have changed the way businesses manage the flow of information, allowing users to input images from paper, microfilm and microfiche, directly into any PC. With OSC's solutions, the task of records management just became more manageable and affordable!

Document Imaging allows your business to scan paper documents (letters, forms, checks, etc.) and store them in digital form on a computer system, disk or CD.   These documents are indexed and can later be quickly and easily retrieved from any authorized workstation on the network.

Special annotation features are usually found on Document Imaging Systems that allow users to add notes, highlight text, redacting for privacy or classification purposes and draw over the stored document without affecting its original state. Documents can also be created with barcodes to automate the scanning and indexing of your documents, as many of our customers are doing now!

The Office Systems Consultants Division of United Solutions provides consulting, hardware and software solutions to our customers wishing to store or convert paper, microfilm and electronic data, and who may wish to use their own storage capability. This can start with shelving solutions, folders and labels for paper document storage; secure storage of boxed documents; document scanners from Canon, Panasonic and Fujitsu, electronic filing systems (NAS/SAN), Archival Database systems and LiveForms solutions.

OSC is also responsible for managing a portion of the Florida State Term Contract for Canon Scanners and Related Software, and for consulting with our customers to design and provide solutions using our capabilities as noted above.
