Matt Davis, Founder of gameFI

Matt Davis is a leading thinker, writer, and doer in the credit union movement. Beyond founding gameFI, CUWatercooler.com, and CoopWatercooler.com, he is widely known for inspiring credit union leaders to leverage innovation, cooperation, and technology to further the impact of member-owned financial cooperatives.

Matt's work has been featured in Fast Company, Bloomberg Businessweek, Yahoo! Finance, MSN, Bankrate.com, TheStreet.com, and other national and international media. He was recognized as one of the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Business Leaders Under 40 (NC), a member of Filene’s 30 Under 30 group, Credit Union Magazine’s “Credit Union Rock Stars,” and the Credit Union Times’ Trailblazers 40 Below.

Matt has spoken for more than one hundred audiences, ranging in size between 10 and 1,700, and guest lectured at University of California-Irvine and University of Wisconsin-Madison. Matt earned a BBA-Marketing from the College of William & Mary and completed Basic Cadet Training at the United States Air Force Academy.

Matt's presentation topic is "Optimizing Performance with Game Thinking." In this session, gameFI's Matt Davis explores how game thinking and game mechanics are being used by credit unions to engage employees with the metrics that matter, boost morale, and drive results.
